Nylons – which Nylons for Fall?

Hello everyone,

Today, it’s all about nylons again – and only nylons. And we’re kicking things off with a new arrival:

Oh Làlà Pur Nylon Couture in the Color Café Au Lait

A beautiful stocking made of 100% nylon, the brother of Oh LàLà Pur Nylon Couture noir, which you already know. The color café au lait naturally fits wonderfully into this series and the stocking comes out at just the right time. The seam in the same café au lait tone as the sock is not too conspicuous and can therefore be worn with almost any outfit. It has a beautiful Cuban heel, which is slightly serrated and RHT. But here are the pictures, see for yourself:

Nylons in Fall

It’s that time, fall is just around the corner. Many people love fall for its many colorful hues and stormy weather. Leaves fly around, the wind whistles through the shutters, and rain patters on the roof at night. I’m more of a summer person or a true winter lover with snow and cold. I’m not so keen on rain and storms. But that’s another topic; I’m now trying to find the good sides of fall: Because when it comes to nylons, fall is a blessing! The slightly lighter nylons in almond or nude are particularly discreet, whereas a bronze shimmer will attract attention. Nylons in darker shades like chocolate or copper also look great in fall under knitted dresses or leather skirts. The main thing is that you like them and feel comfortable. But see for yourself…

I’ve prepared a small selection from the shop for you:

Here you’ll find from left to right: the RHT Nylons (seamless) in almond, the Gold Edition RHT in chocolate, and on the far right, the GIO Seamed Nylon Susan with Cuban Heel also in nude and chocolate.

It’s not too cold to wear only nylons on your legs, and it’s not warm enough to go without stockings… So, you really have no choice but to quickly stock up on nylons in autumnal shades. Fall also has the advantage that clothes get thicker, and you can comfortably wear a shaping girdle suspender belt underneath.

The foliage in fall is characterized by wonderful warm colors. Reds, browns, and greens in abundance, mixed with the shimmer of gold and bronze.

Likewise, I would advise you to choose nylons in muted autumnal tones. Under skirts made of denim or corduroy, I recommend seamless nylons, for the simple reason that the texture of denim and corduroy already dictates a certain direction. The same applies to chunky knitwear or generally all patterned dresses and skirts.

The slightly darker brown suspender stockings also pair well with a seam and create a beautiful eye-catcher if they have a great Cuban or Point heel. However, I find lighter nylons more appealing without a seam and without a heel when winter clothing is worn over them.

With thicker winter shoes, you won’t see the heel anyway. RHT nylons, as a reminder: “reinforced heel and toe,” I can generally always recommend, unless you want to wear a special shoe with open areas or a peep-toe. Remember, nylon stockings are very fragile creations, and any protection against runs or snags should be utilized.

That should do for now; you can always see which nylon it is in the image caption below, and you can click the text to be taken directly to the product. You can, of course, also find all of these in Vicky’s Nylons shop, and if you have any questions, just ask ^^
