Leggings

Brouche or Bruche

The brouche or bruche, the pronunciation does not change, is quasi the underpants of the Middle Ages. It is worn over the leggings. The brouche is cut quite wide and looks like oversized boxer shorts. This is because it is sewn in such a way that you can easily do a split or head-high kick – or whatever contortions people had to do in the Middle Ages – without the trousers tearing. The seams, which were on the outside, were also practical so that they did not rub when riding. Pretty clever fashion even back then. The brouches were held in place with a belt or cord.

A Newcomer among the Suspender Belts – Bound to Please

But I also think that no slip should peek out from under the suspender belt, as in the picture, or it must be a really, really tight black one. But it is also difficult to find a suitable one with so little fabric.

To come back to the combination with nylons, I would recommend the Black Foot seam nylon and very simple, but elegant black high heels.

The suspender belt combined with the Cuban heel is sure to be a real eye-catcher. Also, because the nylon has the beautiful black world at the top and, if you take off your shoes, the continuous black RHT forms the contrast.
