Nylons – Annabelle, Cats, and the Secret Series
Hello everyone,
What would the Vickys Nylons blog be at the moment without the introduction of a new product from Vickys Nylons? Today there are no nylons again, but a suspender belt, a really nice one! But first the matter of
Nylons and Cat Hair
My cat sprawled out comfortably on the new sofa, leaving its hair – which has a really bristly texture – everywhere… Then I remembered I had already mentioned that nylons are good for removing cat hair. I immediately dug out the oldest nylon stocking, already slightly covered with those little nubs, and rubbed my sofa with it. Unfortunately, the success wasn’t as great as expected; a few hairs stuck, but most didn’t.
The nylon, on the other hand, is completely ruined. I can’t say for sure if it’s due to the rough sofa or the pawing cat’s paw, which was encouraged by the rubbing motion to also strike the poor nylon a bit. My mom has my cat’s sister at home, and her hair is wonderfully caught by the nylon… It must be due to my cat’s bristles. Have you had similar experiences, or were your nylons too precious to use? If I can convince my brother to let me use his fish and aquarium as a test object, I’ll try the nylon as a cover for aquarium pumps next time.
Suspender Belt Annabelle

The Annabelle suspender belt is made of delicate floral lace and a little power mesh. It is snow white and therefore fits perfectly under tight white dresses, which are sometimes worn at Christmas.
Remember that saying? There’s always a wedding… Annabelle, of course, looks especially good under a wedding dress.
I find it very nice that the lace slightly overlaps at the front, which makes the entire suspender belt feel “lighter”. Since it’s a suspender belt, it naturally has a hook-and-eye closure at the back. Not only does the innocent-looking white give this suspender belt a particularly feminine appeal, but the small bows on each strap contribute greatly to it.
By the Way: Do you remember our “Secret” series in black? Annabelle fits perfectly into that, apart from the color. Here again is our suspender belt series Secret View, Secret Affair, and Secret Temptation
All three suspender belts, like Annabelle, are made of lace and powermesh, have six straps and metal clips that hold your nylons on your leg. The question of which nylons to pair with them is quite simple for me. For Annabelle, light nylons in copper or complexion/almond shades are suitable; for the black ones, you need stronger, darker colors, and striking seams and heels also go well.
The Eleganti RHT coffee, which I presented to you last week, fits very well as a middle ground between the two. Here on the right you can see it again…
I look forward to next time,
see you soon
yours Julia
