You’re never too old for garter belts & Co, and it’s no longer a taboo subject!
When it comes to age, some people are very sensitive, while others show us how to enjoy controversial topics such as garter belts, even or especially in old age.
Many people only dare to live out their preferences, such as lingerie, at an advanced age, while others are open from the start.
Celebrities in particular are always in the public eye, and there are of course numerous examples, such as Helene Fischer, Andrea Berg, Desirée Nick or, internationally, Madonna or Rihanna, who caused a huge sensation in June with her “Savage X Pride Collection”. All of them are trendsetters in their own way and for their own target group, and have been for a very long time. At the beginning of the 2010s, celebrities such as Paris Hilton were already trying to put the “garter belt” trend in the spotlight of society, but this had only moderate success – at least in Germany. Of course, a stage outfit is different from the everyday wardrobe of the average citizen, and for celebrities, life is usually a stage.
I Think Everyone Has the Right to Wear Garter Belts and Lingerie and to Talk about it!
Let’s be honest, illnesses and ailments are talked about much more every day. I think lingerie is a more cheerful topic.
The industry has recognized the trend, and in recent years almost all lingerie and underwear stores have focused on a “garter collection” or “lingerie”. For example, Rebecca Mir is currently modeling for a well-known brand and skillfully shows herself in garter belts and lace lingerie. And the trend is currently expanding. Shirin David recently made headlines as a model for Rihanna’s aforementioned collection, and Lottie Moss also posed in wonderful garter belts and lingerie at the beginning of the year.
At the beginning of the Corona pandemic, comfortable, seamless lingerie without underwire etc. increasingly found its way into customers’ virtual shopping carts. After all, Saturday evenings at home on the sofa or working days in the home office can be spent much more comfortably when you’re wearing cuddly, comfortable lingerie. But then boredom often crept into everyday life and lingerie met a new surge in demand. Whether it was the first sexy lingerie and nylons for the newcomer or the somewhat more unusual outfit for the “experienced” wearer, it was bought, bought and bought.
The fake garter, a hybrid, then emerged from the comfortable and the attractive. The fake garter is simply a pair of tights with a garter print. From a distance, it looks like a garter belt, but it is a comfortable and easy-to-wear pair of tights. Very popular with the young U20 generation under short skirts and skimpy panties. Of course, this is not comparable in quality to real garter belts and nylons, and there is also a huge visual difference when viewed up close. But let’s be honest, the fake garter is not a substitute, it doesn’t take anyone out of the firing line, it serves a target group that differs from the original nylon and garter wearers.
Nevertheless, the fake garter fills a gap in the clothing industry and – in my opinion – is absolutely justified!
Either Way, Nylons with Garter Belts are Absolutely Up-To-Date Again and therefore Totally Trendy.
Vickys Nylons is of course a specialist with a lot of experience when it comes to the sale, manufacture and design of nylons and garter belts… and Vicky’s also moves with the times! You can also find lingerie and fake garter belts in the online shop, as well as the usual classics!
