Clara in Paris – The last streetcar home

Elegant Clara boards a historic Parisian streetcar in the rain wearing classic nylon stockings with seams.
The rain had just started when Clara walked down the street.
Paris in the rain has a very special atmosphere. The lights of the cafés are reflected on the wet cobblestones and the streetcars glide quietly through the narrow streets of the city.
Clara opened her black umbrella and pulled her coat a little tighter around her. A long day lay behind her, and the thought of her warm apartment made her smile.
The lanterns were already burning at the bus stop, their light reflected in the shiny stones beneath her heels.
A streetcar approached in the distance.
Slowly, she turned the corner, her target shining above the front:
Saint-Germain.
Perfect.
With an elegant movement, Clara placed her foot on the step. Her heels sounded softly on the metal floor of the train as she got on.
The driver nodded politely, the doors closed and the streetcar started moving again.
Outside, the rain continued to fall over the rooftops of Paris.
Inside, the train rolled quietly through the evening city –
and took Clara home.
